As a CPA that has touched on many different areas of the accounting world, I like to say that my time in the agricultural industry has enhanced my experience the most. Within this industry brings a fast rate of change and helping ag businesses keep up with these changes from a financial standpoint is what excites me the most. How do we create efficiencies? How do we stay up to date on current technology and software? How do we stay relevant? These are all valuable questions that I enjoy helping to solve.
JOSEPH ZIKMUND

My background as an ADM-Benson Quinn internal auditor for 11 years provided me with opportunities to travel the midwest and work with many different cooperatives and software programs. In 2005, I became the CFO of North Central Farmers Elevator in Ipswich, SD, and had the task of selecting a software program and implementing it across 22 locations and four departments, grain, agronomy, energy, and feed. The Agvance implementation and employee training were very successful and the software worked well across North Central Farmers Elevator’s multi-locations and departments.
SHAUN HETTICH

Shaun is a graduate of Northern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Banking/Financial Services. After graduation he spent two years in Eden Prairie, MN working as a Staff Accountant at ACIST Medical Systems. Then in 2015, he moved back to the Aberdeen area and began his career at North Central Farmers Elevator, a local cooperative as a Staff Accountant. Shaun specialized in Financial Statement preparation, Depreciation Schedules, and Inventory Management during his time at NCFE. When two local cooperatives merged in 2018, Shaun took on the role as Internal Auditor within the new cooperative. Shaun joined AgCents Consulting in January of 2020.
